pioneer
When using the warp group in Designer and selecting the Arc Horizontal it shows the text facing up, is there a way to modify this to show the text facing downwards please? GarryP
What do you mean by "facing downwards"? Have you tried giving the warp a negative Value?
pioneer
Hi @GarryP not sure you mean by this, can you please elaborate. Cheers John Quote AMD Ryzen 7 5800 X. Alfred
If by “facing downwards” you mean that you want the text to curve downwards and then back upwards, a simple way to do it is to rotate the text object through 180°, apply the Arc Horizontal effect, and then rotate the object back to its original orientation. pioneer 1 Quote Alfred Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for Windows • Windows 10 Home/Pro Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for iPad • iPadOS 17.4.1 (iPad 7th gen)
GarryP
50 minutes ago, pioneer said: can you please elaborate. I don’t understand what you mean by “facing” or “downwards” in this context, so I don’t know what you mean by “facing downwards”. It might help if you can give us a visual example of what you want, possibly taken from another image. pioneer
markw
With the Warp Group selected, in the Context Toolbar just enter a negative number. pioneer
@markw That's just what I was after and trying to do. Sadly my fault as I was looking to alter the orientation through the layers menu in the studio panel to get some sort of adjustment on screen within the context toolbar. would be nice if the last used mesh within the project would stay in the context toolbar rather than altering to mesh. Thank you once again. Quote AMD Ryzen 7 5800 X.
