Bruce-R Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 Hey! I'm sure there must be simpler/better ways to create vector textures but I have created a small tutorial on my website for anyone who wishes to create the effect... http://www.funkyimage.com/blog/creating-gradient-vector-texures-in-affinity-designer CartoonMike, Leigh and MEB 3 Quote www.bruces.art Follow me: instagram // twitter // facebook // dribbble
Hokusai Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 funkyimage, Nice tutorial, very useful for people who would like to use a texture with their gradient but still keep everything vector. You might want to check your link though, it doesn't work, here is the correct link: http://www.funkyimage.com/blog/creating-gradient-vector-texures-in-affinity-designer Hokusai Bruce-R 1 Quote

Adrian75 Posted May 30, 2022 Posted May 30, 2022 (edited) Hi everyone, This seems what I want to do, because it can do a vector gradient with only two colors. The dots and a background. However, being new to Affinity and graphic design with the purpose of printing in fabric, I don't understand how the gradient was created. We design the curve but then inside there is a set of variable density points. What is that? a brush? Because it's a pantone spot printer I can't have too many colors. So please see the attached image to understand what I mean. The position of the dots are just for the purpose of an example. Thank you in advance.
