Steve "Ed"
Did a search but found nothing: When a spelling error or special word is found in Pre Flight, the error is spotted. All good. There is an option to "Ignore". But if you close the file and reopen, your back to spelling error showing up and the programme has NOT ignored this special word. Be nice if for the life of the file, ignored words were ignored despite opening and enclosing that file. Just a thought, Steve"Ed" V2 it also happened in V1
Alfred
What you’re suggesting would make it difficult for the program to unlearn an accidental ’Ignore’. If the spelling that you’ve used isn’t actually an error, you can simply add it to the user dictionary. They're supposed to be. Ignored words are saved in the file. What OS do you use? MikeTO
I believe you're on macOS and Ignore should do what you're saying - ignore a word, save the file, close and re-open, and it should be ignored. If it's not, when you right-click it is there an option to Ignore or Unignore it? A bug in macOS causes words to be flagged as misspelled and words that are misspelled to not be flagged, so it's unreliable. It's not Affinity's fault. Hello, I have been using Monterey and Ventura - all update tweaks over time and this has always happened in V1 and now V2. Ant thoughts? Thank you, Steve
