tariq
So today all the apps were updated with the informative mysterious message "compatibility and stability improvements" ... is this a sign of things to come with Canva taking Affinity?

tariq
Thanks for the link. Those (lessons and translations) don't look like "compatibility and stability improvements" ... we're heading into a world where they are even less transparent about the software.... Staff Patrick Connor Posted March 26 Staff Share Posted March 26 Hi @tariq The app store strings are not correct, sorry. They are standard (Serif default) patch strings that we have translations/localisations for and a more appropriate string for this unusual update we're not considered, sorry. We realised that we would likely get a lot of new users as Canva users are informed of the Serif acquisition. So we put a couple of Lessons in the samples area with the option to add more as time allows. We will shortly start a 2.4.2 beta cycle with fixes and stability improvements, but this one had no fixes as the forum release notes state. Unfortunately Apple do not allow anything other than plain text (which can't be changed post release), so it cannot even be a link to the release notes, mores the pity.
