Ron P.
Hi @Kimo, You don't say which OS or App your using? Also need to know what version of each. For Windows: Press and hold down the Control key, then launch the Affinity App. You should see the Clear User Data dialog. There's 2 sections, just pay attention to the top one. The top 3 options are checked by default. The Fourth is the Disable Hardware Acceleration. Check the box to it's left. Press the Clear button in the bottom right. The Affinity App should continue to start. RichardMH and Alfred 2 Quote Affinity Photo 2.5..; Affinity Designer 2.5..; Affinity Publisher 2.5..; Affinity2 Beta versions. Ctrl on Windows usually corresponds to Cmd on macOS, but it’s Control for macOS in this particular case. Having said that, the OP mentions [Windows] Task Manager. You need to press Ctrl and, crucially, keep it held down until the ‘Clear User Dialog’ appears, and only then release it. You need to hold Ctrl before you click on the program to start it, and keep holding it until you get the Clear User Data dialog. You may need to watch for the application to appear on the Taskbar, and then click it there (while still holding Ctrl).
