Using Publisher V2. Video tutorial on YouTube (prob. V1) showed way to apply fill and borders: Studio/Text Frame/Fill Stroke. How do it in my version?

You can recreate it with text frames.

If you do not see the Studio tab "Text Frame", go to the menu Window -> Text -> Text Frame

I've created text frames and have added text, just can't find the sequence of commands to open the window for applying fill. I'll try what you suggested. There is no Studio selection in V2. What is the equivalent?

He means the Windows menu where you will find several flyout options for the Text item, one of which is the Text Frame Studio panel.
