artjourney
Is this a bug or it’s normal? Since I’m working on a small screen, this is one way I organize my panels. But it keeps on shrinking when I go from one tab to another back and forth. ap panels.mp4
Pšenda
Not for me - but you'll probably have some specific settings (now I see you have a different OS), because my Text Frame panel can't be reduced (its height is fixed, and it's controlled only by turning on the categories). When switching panels, the height and width jump according to the settings of the individual panels. artjourney
I’m on macOS Ventura. On my side, it shrinks when there’s room to shrink and that the panel is detached (floating).
debraspicher
That looks like a bug to me, especially since it is incrementally decreasing.

It's definitely a bug - but a different approach to disconnected panels between OSes is interesting. In Windows, panels retain their user-set dimensions and resize accordingly when they are switched. On MacOS, disconnected panels are aligned to some area (what-what panel is this area actually defined by?), and there seems to be some error in calculating the size of the panels when switching.
