fdarnel Posted October 22, 2023 Posted October 22, 2023 Having just moved to Photo v. 2 (AP 2.2.1 under Big Sur.), I try to save a Curve preset as in v. 1. Nothing appears in the Adjustment palette. However it works for other layer settings. Has anyone had this problem? Quote
GarryP Posted October 22, 2023 Posted October 22, 2023 Welcome to the forums @fdarnel Just to be clear, when you say “Nothing appears in the Adjustment palette”, do you mean that: the “Add Preset” button is not present in the Curves dialog, or; when you press that button you don’t get a dialog asking for the name, or; when you add a preset, after giving it a name and pressing OK, the preset doesn’t appear in Curves section of the Adjustment Panel, or; something else? If you can supply a video showing us what happens then that would be useful. Note: All of this seems to working as expected for me on Windows with Photo 2.2.1. Quote
fdarnel Posted October 22, 2023 Author Posted October 22, 2023 Thanks, Third item. Nothing appears next to "Default" in the Adjustment panel. Best regards Quote
walt.farrell Posted October 22, 2023 Posted October 22, 2023 Works fine for me on Ventura 13.6. Can you provide a screen recording, so we can see exactly what you're doing? ASCAPE Posted October 22, 2023 Posted October 22, 2023 It happens to me also in Photo V2. But it happens with EVERY adjustment you can save a preset from. E.g. the gradient adjustment. It's also not importing the saved presets from Photo V1. Im using the latest version of Photo under Mac OS Monterey 12.7. Quote

Best to continue in the separate topic you created, @ASCAPE. This problem seems different. walt.farrell Posted October 22, 2023 Posted October 22, 2023 @fdarnel: Out of curiosity, does it work if you change the interface language to English? Please could you try reinstalling the app if you haven't already? I'd also be interested to hear if Walts suggestion above solves this for you at all. This sounds very similar to this post from back in May where Resetting the Adjustments under the Clear User Data section when doing a Ctrl Start of Affinity Photo fixed the issue in an earlier Beta version...
