ajwwong
Hi there everyone! Strangely, the font for Century Gothic Headings Changes from 12 Points to 10 Points When I Import. This is not the end of the world, but I don't quite know why this is happening. When I import (or "place") my Microsoft word file into affinity publisher – the fonts don't always come over correctly – for example the Century Gothic font switches from 12 points to 10 points. Here's a video to show the behavior. https://www.loom.com/share/70ab1c52b98f465a82e4a8a6ebed8a22 And here's a sample Word Doc. Thanks so much for all your thoughtful advice and help! I see the same thing happening in Publisher 2.2.0 on my system, too. I have no idea why. ajwwong 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. MikeW
Doesn't happen in any other software I tried the sample file in. The Word style definitions are correct as far as I can see. APub should be using/translating the styles properly. ajwwong
ajwwong
Interesting. Thanks for the research. Appreciate it... even if there is no answer.
Catshill
When I read posts like these it’s a reminder to myself why I invariably paste as unformatted/plain text. ajwwong and Old Bruce
