An issue raised in this thread ("Clicking Insert in Front/Behind/Inside in light mode will click through to the app behind Affinity") has now been reported to the developers by the testing team (Ref: PD-927). Thank you very much for reporting this issue to us.

This also affects the View and Advanced View Mode Icons...

Thanks! I did notice those. I believe it is only those that are affected. I did add all the icons to the toolbar to check in Designer. 😂

Likewise and would agree, I think they may also be shown in the OP actually... :)

The "best" part is, when you click in that empty icon area, you will be switched to whatever application is in the back. Eg, if you have a browser open behind the app, you will be switched tot he browser. If it's the Finder, you will be switched to the Finder.
