TanBrae
I just got a new Mac Studio, and after loading AP (and AD and Publisher), I was excited to give it a try. I've been working with AP for several years, and have pretty much been able to do what I wanted in it. In AP on my old computer, I created several custom documents, and was in the process of creating them on my new computer. BUT,,, for some reason I cannot get the documents to KEEP the margins I've typed in. This could be something I've missed in the settings(???), so please bear with me. I want a .25 inch margin all the way around a document. I am allowed to type that in, but when I hit enter, it turns to .3 in. That isn't what I want! It also turns to .3 in. when I try to change the margins after the document has been created. I hope this can be remedied. I'm really liking AP (used PS for college degree), and don't want to "have" to go back to PS and their stupid, greedy subscription.
TanBrae
Also, has this forum changed??? I seem to recall there being specific forums for each studio.

You have your User Interface configured (by default) to round the measurement to one decimal place for display purposes. Open the application Settings, User Interface section, and increase the number of decimal places. I tried changing the inch setting, but that didn't work, nor did the degrees setting.
GarryP
I would recommend changing all of those values to at least 3. (If doing so for any one of them later becomes a problem for some reason then you can change that one to something else.)

As Garry has mentioned, you may wish to repeat this for other units also
