Hide the help text at the bottom of the window?

Recommended Posts

I like clean windows, is there any chance of disabling / hiding the help about the used tools showing up at the bottom of the window all the time? I did a search, but did not find a solution for that. I do not need this help infos at the moment, so how can I hide this?

Talking about Designer!

I think currently there is no option to hide the status bar (which is what they call the text bar at the bottom of the workspace). However, there may be some way to do this by accident, if someone can figure out the cause of what is a problem for chishi in this topic.

That's a bug probably specific to the old OS X version (Mountain Lion?) that the user is running.

I would also like to be able to hide the bottom status bar - seems like a waste of space if you don't want these tips. Especially when so much of the rest of the interface can be hidden if you want :)

You may already know this, but you can quickly hide or show all of the UI elements (including the status bar) by tapping the Tab key.
