I got the CYMK and RGB hex values from an experienced Adobe Indesign use for use in Affinity, so that the colors in the pictures would be similar.

But now I 'm making the images, the values I use do not make the colors appearing equal.

I don't know how to change that because the blue color in a logo appears different.

Examples can be seen here: https://www.myeasychannel-services.nl/feedmanager/vlechtmuseum/feedmanager/feedmanage.php

The values should be CMYK 100-87-7-1 or RGB hex 33338c for the blue background and CYMK 0-90-86-0 or RGB hex c83f37

Please help

With regards,

The values used for conversion between CMYK and RGB will depend on the color profiles you've chosen. Simply asking someone for values isn't good enough; you would need to use the same color profiles they used.

Also, you didn't say anything new in your second post (just above this one). You only quoted your original post.

I think Serif wants us to be only creative in finding workarounds to use their tools.

In both cases, top is #33338c bottom is #c83f37. For CMYK you need the paper profile as Walt wrote above

Not sure what I should see there at all, as none of those colors are used there?

You have to be more precise about where and what to inspect there as an example!

☛ Affinity Designer 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Photo 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Publisher 1.10.8 ◆ OSX El Capitan
☛ Affinity V2.3 apps ◆ MacOS Sonoma 14.2 ◆ iPad OS 17.2

Misschien kun je beter de foto's van de pagina's hier uploaden want de andere members schijnen niet door te hebben dat je een link naar een slideshow hebt gepost.

Problem solved!

Can you summarize the solution for us, so we know for future reference?

I took the original IDML-file and changed the background by adding a new rectangle tool and filled it with the most appropriate color (similar). Then export with the Adobe 1998 color profile. After uploading the file it seemed to me that the colors are similar between the slides.
