Maybe they could have an option to "Don't tell me again", for those of us who don't want to be nagged every time we run the software, but also don't want to stop work to update immediately. (I'm not sure it's correct to say that "every other software prompts for update whenever you start it". With the software I use, some does (but often only with a small indicator, not a dialogue box in the middle of the screen), some only prompts once (like Affinity) and some has to be checked manually for updates!) Petar Petrenko Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 I am OK with prompting me for update, but if I start the apps 5-10 times a day I'll never know there is an update. Either that, or have an option in the settings for how often you want the software to check for updates. (Every time you start it, once a day, once a week etc.) – It's up to Serif to decide what they think most users prefer. I'm pretty sure that it works the way it does because of some peoples concerns about continual nagging! PaulEC Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 Well, that is "next day", it isn't "never"! I don't really understand why you seem so insistent on update notifications being changed to suit yourself, rather than my suggestion of giving everyone a choice! Honestly, I don't think there's much point in this discussion. At the end of the day it's down to Serif to decide! TC Conway Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 Looks like the Export SVG with transparency is not resolved, at least in both Designer and Photo. Can anyone verify if you can export SVG with a transparent background? (I'm on v2.2.1.1) Quote
