Ezbaze Posted June 1, 2023 Posted June 1, 2023 What Application are you using? Designer | Photo Are you using the latest release version? v2.1.0 Can you reproduce it? Yes Does it happen for a new document? If not can you upload a document that shows the problem? Yes hardware acceleration Same issue with both. What happened for you (and what you expected to happen) It doesn not show the rectangle that goes over the edge, i would expect it to show it. Recipe for creating the problem Files: MaxContentBox.zip Linked Document: Container Document: Note: I haven't tested this for with an Embeded Document Quote
Staff NathanC Posted June 2, 2023 Staff Posted June 2, 2023 Hi @Ezbaze, Good catch, from what I can tell this looks like a regression from V1, I've now replicated and logged this with the developers, thanks for providing detail. 🙂 Quote
Old Bruce Posted June 2, 2023 Posted June 2, 2023 Do you have View > View Mode > Clip to Canvas checked or unchecked. Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.5.7 | Affinity Photo 2.5.7 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.7 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

That wouldn't really do anything in this case as i moved it as well to see if it goes to max content, but thank you as i had no idea this option existed Quote
Staff Affinity Info Bot Posted June 21, 2023 Staff Posted June 21, 2023 The issue "Maximum/Minimum Content Page boxes on placed .AF files no longer display content outside of the canvas area" (REF: AFD-6633) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.2.0.1857". This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release. Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions. If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us. Ezbaze 1 Quote
