[Vector Flood Fill] Tolerance?

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

I found a potential issue using the Vector Flood fill in my workflow,

I made a video tutorial showing and teaching how to use this tool, as Freehand illustration drawing,

When we want to fill one area, unfortunately, we need to double-check all the lines that are not connected properly, because if so, the area will not work as it should.

The solution for that, perhaps is to Add a tolerance for the Vector Flood fill, that consideres the lines very close, because if the line is not closed perfectly, it won't work :( as shown on the photos below

or, add something like auto snapping during the use of Pencil tool, somehow.

In the video I show this issue that I found in the process of working with Affinity 2.

If you can take a look about this possibility, it would make this tools very usable for illustrators in this matter
