JhonatanS
Hi there, I found a potential issue using the Vector Flood fill in my workflow, I made a video tutorial showing and teaching how to use this tool, as Freehand illustration drawing, When we want to fill one area, unfortunately, we need to double-check all the lines that are not connected properly, because if so, the area will not work as it should. The solution for that, perhaps is to Add a tolerance for the Vector Flood fill, that consideres the lines very close, because if the line is not closed perfectly, it won't work as shown on the photos below or, add something like auto snapping during the use of Pencil tool, somehow. In the video I show this issue that I found in the process of working with Affinity 2. https://www.youtube.com/live/ex6_TXFK1f0?feature=share&t=1713 If you can take a look about this possibility, it would make this tools very usable for illustrators in this matter Robert Hansford, ashf, lepr and 2 others
JhonatanS
In addition, In Blender, there is a function called Merge Vertices and Auto Merge that is nearby, Seeing the use of Vector Flood Fill in the current workflow as shown in the video tutorial for Lineart, this is a function that would require more attention. postmadesign and Frozen Death Knight
Robert Hansford
I like the idea about setting some kind of tolerance based on the proximity of nodes to segments and vice versa. I think something like this would really increase the usability and versatility of the tool.
