Cannot see Affinity programmes in Windows' Programmes and Features list

Recommended Posts

They all appear for me in both locations, Control Panel>Programs and Features, and Settings>Apps & features!

Win 10 Pro, i7 6700K, 32Gb RAM, NVidia GTX1660 Ti and Intel HD530 Graphics

Long-time user of Serif products, chiefly PagePlus and PhotoPlus, but also WebPlus, CraftArtistProfessional and DrawPlus.  Delighted to be using Affinity Designer, Photo, and now Publisher, version 1 and now version 2.

iPad Pro (12.9") (iOS 17.4) running Affinity Photo and Designer version 1 and all three version 2 apps.

This may be because you have the MSI/EXE version of the apps installed so the control panel detects the app, whilst only the Settings > App & Features can detect MSIX/sandboxed apps and standard exes.

Yes, I am running the MSI versions, but the OP was asking about Affinity version 1.  Surely, version 2 install type should not affect version 1, should it?

Still, uninstalling from the Start menu should work for both V1 and V2. For V1, right-click on the app and there should be an Uninstall option. Or Windows Settings, Apps, will allow uninstalling both V1 and V2.
