gatorpromo
Can't figure out why this gets messed up. I open the exported PDF file in CS5 and it's OK however the roof parts get cut off in Preview. strange. Staff Leigh Posted March 1, 2016 Staff Share Posted March 1, 2016 Welcome to the forums gatorpromo :) Is it possible to attach the PDF file to this thread? :)
gatorpromo
No problem - maybe it's something gone wonky in OSX Preview for me, as it's just fine everywhere else. LSP6.pdf Quote Gator Promo http://www.gatorpromo.com
Staff Leigh Posted March 1, 2016 Staff Share Posted March 1, 2016 Thanks for the file. I'm getting the same in Preview but in other apps it displays fine.
gatorpromo
Thanks for verifying - it's not just me then! :-) Quote Gator Promo http://www.gatorpromo.com
R C-R
Thanks for the file. I'm getting the same in Preview but in other apps it displays fine. Same here. From what I can tell, this has something to do with Preview not handling the square end caps of the two roof lines correctly. If I replace the two lines with a single three node line, the PDF export looks fine in Preview. marmite
Weird. It's fine for me in Preview. Are you all on El Cap (I see R C-R is)? I'm still on Yosemite ... be interesting to know if that was the differentiating factor.
Signguy
Looks fine under Yosemite but definitely messed up in El Crapitan El Capitan. Sorry, there are just too many simple errors in El Capitan for me to use it reliably on my Production Computer. Instead of them coming out with yet another new version this fall, Apple needs to focus on working on the bugs. I have never not upgraded to the latest O/S until El Capitan. marmite
I have never not upgraded to the latest O/S until El Capitan. I'd held off originally because of software compatibility issues. I was about to upgrade ... maybe I'll hold off a while longer! ;)
Travelling Man
I am on El Capitan V10.11.3 and the file loads fine. Maybe you should upgrade?
