Hi @BelAffinity,

It's hard to tell from your screenshot as you have multiple different objects selected at once so I'm not 100% certain of the bounding outline you're expecting to see - are you able to provide a copy of the .afdesign file, or a new file with only these layers present that shows this issue?

Do you have Snapping enabled?

Many thanks in advance :)

but when I select a particular item it shows this

You used the Node Tool here for selecting, try with the Move Tool instead.

Can you please provide a copy of your .afdesign file here for me? From your screenshot it appears as though you have a vector 'Curves' object selected, so this isn't entirely unexpected - but I'd like to double check :)

Does anyone know what is this outline that seems to appear when I click a vector artwork or when I copy and paste elsewhere?

If you don't know what both those curves layers are delete them, they do not appear to be attached to anything nor are they an integral part of the design. If you don't know then they are surplus to requirements.

Edit: Despite the fact, that the highlighted (blue) curves are different in the two images!
