Steve747 Posted April 10, 2023 Posted April 10, 2023 Whilst taking a photo on New Zealand recently I unfortunately had a rain drop hit the lens. In the attached photo, how can I remove that raindrop blemish? Look forward to your guidance or suggestions... Steve NZ Photo4.tiff Quote
GarryP Posted April 10, 2023 Posted April 10, 2023 Welcome to the forums @Steve747 The Inpainting Brush Tool in Photo – set to a large brush size – does a pretty good job of getting rid of the raindrop on the right-hand side without any careful work needed, if you don’t examine the image too closely. The few smaller drops on the left may need more careful work though. henryanthony, Steve747 and debraspicher 2 1 Quote
Komatös Posted April 10, 2023 Posted April 10, 2023 The Blemish Removal Tool would be my first choice. Choose a brush size between 300 and 500 px. Then click with the left mouse button on the area you want to improve. Then drag with the mouse button pressed on an area of the image that should replace the area you want to improve. firstdefence Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 You have more than one raindrop but regardless, that is a well photographed river so you may be able to find an image that you could clone from, else do you have any more images you took from around there that you could copy paste area's and over them?
