Hello,

I’m having difficulty setting the blend mode of a layer…I will select the mode from the pull down menu, and it will apply to the layer, only to revert back to normal (or another blend mode entirely) once I leave the layer.

thank you!

It sounds like you may be scrolling the list until you see the one you want, but not actually clicking on it. If that's the case, does it work if you click on the name to select it?

Hi Farawayspices,

It may be handy if you provide a screen recording demonstrating this issue as we haven't seen this reported before.

Thanks

Thanks Walt! Well, that worked! Funny I’ve been using blend modes for quite some time and I don’t recall having to click it, if it appeared in the box after scrolling though the pull down menu, it was sufficient. But now I will make sure to do that extra step.

Thank you for your quick reply. Walt’s suggestion worked. I believe I did not specifically need to click the blend mode name after scrolling in the past, but now it seems it is necessary.

To be honest, I think it would be way too easy to accidentally change the blend mode to the wrong one if you didn't have to select it by clicking on it.
