  1. Thank you for your reply. I hope they fix it soon! In the meantime, I will try to remember to save my files intermittently.
  2. Hello, I duplicated an existing document, so I could change the color palette. After changing the colors, I renamed the project from the live docs page. A very strange thing happened…after changing the name, when I open the project it is blank. Instead of 5000x5000 px RGB, it says 0 Items. The preview of the project can still be seen in the live docs page, though when I click it there is nothing. Any idea what could have happened, and how I can get it back? tia
  3. Hello, Is there any update on the palette issue please? It is a very strange bug to have been going on so long? Thank you.
  4. Thank you for your quick reply. Walt’s suggestion worked. I believe I did not specifically need to click the blend mode name after scrolling in the past, but now it seems it is necessary.
  5. Thanks Walt! Well, that worked! Funny I’ve been using blend modes for quite some time and I don’t recall having to click it, if it appeared in the box after scrolling though the pull down menu, it was sufficient. But now I will make sure to do that extra step.
  6. Hello, I’m having difficulty setting the blend mode of a layer…I will select the mode from the pull down menu, and it will apply to the layer, only to revert back to normal (or another blend mode entirely) once I leave the layer. thank you!
  7. I would love to see the option of having warp applied to symbols, not having this is a major disappointment.
  8. For some reason when using the dropper tool to create a new palette, after the color is added, the menu reverts to “recent colors” instead of the the new palette. You then have to go back in the menu and choose the palette to continue adding each new color, after which it will once again revert to “recent colors”. This is an unnecessarily arduous process.
  9. Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately I’m unable to determine which crash report corresponds to this specific event.
  10. While 99% of the time this feature works wonderfully, every once in a while it causes a crash, and progress may or may not be saved. When Affinity is re-started and the document is re-opened, (if it is not lost), the colors may be changed in a way that oddly will not reflect in the history thumbnails. Sometimes all colors in the document will have been changed (not just the ones chosen when “select same fill/stroke color” was selected). This tends to happen in more complex pieces.
  11. Yes, this must have been what happened. Thank you for your responses!
  12. I am using affinity designer on the iPad and I am finding that if I export a file to photos, it will often export duplicate of the previous file rather than exporting the current one. Usually these files are very similar with either a color change or a small adjustment to spacing. In one case, similar mock-ups were created with different patterns, and exporting a file to photos would result in the previous pattern saved to photos instead. The only workaround I’ve been able to use is to close the app, re-open, and try saving the image or file once again. This seems to be a new issue in the past week or so.
  13. Hi Dan, I’ve attached a screenshot of the settings. thank you for your help!
