  1. I've done some very basic testing to see if I could reproduce and have not been able to do so either with 2.3.1. The file uploaded in the original post still seems messed up but I suspect that is because it was created with the older version.
  2. I agree and could see it both ways but a symbol I see as a replication of an object, and not a variation. I could see the latter being a feature of a symbol to add variation but would not expect that to be the base feature.
  3. @Old Bruce, thanks for the work around. I'll give it a shot. I'd agree that this is a pain as expanding the stroke should be a one step process. Hopefully this is fixed as I use this a ton.
  4. When expanding the stroke of a curve (text converted to curve), the inner strokes are sometimes dropped. When selecting a different alignment option, the stroke will be expanded properly at times but could not find any pattern to get it to operate as expected. Also, changing stroke size sometimes fixes the issue. Note in screen cast, could not get menu to be visible but option to expand stroke was selected. 5. When applying a warp modifier to an object in a symbol, the warp is not propagated to all symbols. It is only applied to the symbol that made the modification. The warp is showing up in the layers for each symbol, just not displaying the actual warp in the object. I would expect to warp to be duplicated to all symbol objects.
