Staff EmT Posted March 13, 2023 Staff Posted March 13, 2023 @paolo.limoncelli We have not been able to replicate the issue with the highlight not appearing, could you send me a screen recording of this issue in action? In your MacOS settings, is your accent colour set to Graphite? As this would change the brush highlight to the grey you are seeing in your screenshot. No blue, no red, no dots... -------UPDATE------- Finally something "changed" but I needed to use the brush for a brief time. Also, when UI is Mono this highlight is monochromatic too... Also... Why not placing an "Update Brush" here too? Quote List of V2 FAQ's | Affinity Online Help | Affinity Video Tutorials | Beta Software Forums | Bug Reporting Guidance
paolo.limoncelli Posted March 13, 2023 Posted March 13, 2023 Yep... Graphite... I use it for menus because I feel it better for my eyes... Any chance to override these macOS settings and maybe customise from Affinity Settings? ------ EDIT ------ Changing macOS accent Colour makes things work, anyway I'd like to keep my accent colour. Colours look awful because they follow the Dark/Light UI settings of macOS and not Affinity's one. Also... The dot icon appears only with shortcut changes as you can see here Screen Recording 2023-03-13 at 16.15.57.mov If I change parameters (any) from Brush Panel nothing happens. If I use on screen shortcuts for Size or Opacity the dot finally appears. Cheers, Paolo Quote DAUB® Brushes making tools for artists, illustrators and doodlers
