Greenbeetle Posted February 23, 2023 Posted February 23, 2023 Hi All, Using Designer v2, is there an option to revert an object back from an isometric plane to a flat plane? Seems unnecessarily destructive otherwise... Quote
Old Bruce Posted February 23, 2023 Posted February 23, 2023 Use the Transform Pane and set the shear and rotation back to 0 degrees. Greenbeetle Posted February 24, 2023 Author Posted February 24, 2023 Many thanks, Old Bruce. I wonder why there's not an simple option in the Isometric pane? I think it will be quicker for me to ensure I'm working on duplicates when I'm making Isometric drawings. Quote
Greenbeetle Posted February 27, 2023 Author Posted February 27, 2023 Thanks for the correction BofG... I thought it wasn't working properly. Quote
kwaaui Posted December 17, 2024 Posted December 17, 2024 If I reset Rotation and Shear it doesn't go back to the original shape. If you try with a circle shape it becomes an elliptical shape. Any solution? Quote

Just use height for width or with for height, and set shear to zero.
