_jcc_
Expand stroke with arrow results in unexpected gap between stroke and arrow tip (in version V2.0.3)? See images below: normal rendering, outline and stroke properties. Or is it because I have a setting that affects the expansion?... I tried this in the V1 - no gaps - works as expected. Normal rendering: same, but expanded version selected, to see the points: Outline (to show the structure of the shapes): Stroke properties: Edited January 15, 2023 by _jcc_ typo, image size, version number

loukash
A workaround for the time being would be: delete the three (or two, depending on Cap mode) nodes to remove the hole inside the triangle Geometry > Add, to merge everything into a single closed curve Quote MacBookAir 15": MacOS Ventura > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // MacBookPro 15" mid-2012: MacOS El Capitan > Affinity v1 / MacOS Catalina > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // iPad 8th: iPadOS 16 > Affinity v2
Paul Mudditt
Did you try converting to curves first before expand stroke? It's not about the Arrow shape, it's about the stroke Start/End attributes. The bug here in v2 is that Expand Stroke is actually performing a destructive Xor boolean operation. Which it shouldn't. I vaguely remember seeing it reported before, or something similar. Dan C
Hi @_jcc_, Welcome to the Affinity Forums Thanks for your report - I can confirm I've been able to replicate this issue here and I'm getting it logged with our devs now. I hope this helps!
Old Bruce
In the meantime in Version 2 there is a Toolbar item you can use, I don't think it is part of the Default set so you'll need to add the Geometry group.
