Kimbo1
Open a single affinity window/image Minimize the window (into the dock) Click Affinity Photo 2 App's Dock icon. It is expected that the minimized window un-minimizes and is brought to the front when there are no other windows open for the app. Af Photo 2.0.0 macOS 12.6.1 This behaves correctly in AP 1.10.5 Edited November 21, 2022 by Kimbo1 Add regression info. WN1X
I am not experiencing this behavior on my 2018 Mac Mini. What hardware are you running this on?
Kimbo1
This doesn't look like a hardware issue. MacBook Pro (14-inch, 2021) Screen Recording 2022-11-21 at 11.43.56 AM-Apple Devices SD.mov ,
decster1
I am having the same problem on my 2020 MacBook Pro! If Im working on a project and minimize Affinity 2 and come back later it shows Affinity bar at top but nothing else so I have to start a new project to bring it back! It starts the new project in a new tab and the one I was working on is in another tab!

Staff Affinity Info Bot Posted June 20, 2023 Staff Share Posted June 20, 2023 The issue "Application (running) doesn't maximize when we click the icon on the dock" (REF: AFP-4836) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.2.0.1857". This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release. Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions. If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us.
