I was able to go to "Settings" - "Linked Services" and click "Copy Settings and Content from Release Apps" and everything came to me. I did loose some custom start new page settings. Thanks again!

In Photo 2.1 I have selected all my favorite brushes and clicked "Link Category" and when I open Photo 2.2 Beta the categories aren't there! Is this normal because of Beta or did I find a little bug? In "Help" it says that when you select "Link Category" it links with all Affinity software.

Thanks firstdefence I never gave that a thought! So just the blend mode to "Erase" that the expanded pen curve is on? GREAT idea! Still learning! I'll give it a try!

Sorry Old Bruce I thought I was in a Designer forum only, I didn't notice it was for all Affinity. But that is what I'm using Affinity Designer. I'm sure there's a way to do it I'm but just learning Designer.

If I have 12 columns of colors how do I combine them all so I can use the pen tool straight across and expand stroke and when I click subtract at the top it subtracts from all the columns? I tried Grouping them and that didn't work.

When I restart my MacBook Pro M1 and It comes back up I have a ? mark for an icon instead of the Affinity Photo 2 icon and then when I click on it a screen pops up and says "Verifying Affinity Photo 2" and the progress bar takes about 30 sec. to finish and then another warning prompt comes up saying "Affinity Photo 2 is software downloaded from the internet do you allow it to run" and I click yes and it runs. Is this normal or is there something I can do to stop that from happening?

Today I was doing a composition and had made a selection and clicked "Command > J" to duplicate and Photo 2 froze with the spinning beach ball and after about 30 seconds it stopped and made the duplicate and with any other move it would do the same thing until I saved, closed and restarted Photo 2 and it must hold memory because it still did it. Yesterday it did the same thing with a different composition but it did it when I used the rectangle tool and I had to "Force Close" Photo 2. I am using a 2020 MacBook Pro M1 and it's up to date and I have Automatic Brightness disable per James Ritson video. Please help its very annoying.

I am having the same problem on my 2020 MacBook Pro! If Im working on a project and minimize Affinity 2 and come back later it shows Affinity bar at top but nothing else so I have to start a new project to bring it back! It starts the new project in a new tab and the one I was working on is in another tab!
