Recommended Posts

@Kent Davis

The Version 2 Universal Licence allows you to use any and all of the Affinity apps on any and all of the available operating systems, i.e., Windows, MAC or iOS.

Win 10 Pro, i7 6700K, 32Gb RAM, NVidia GTX1660 Ti and Intel HD530 Graphics

Long-time user of Serif products, chiefly PagePlus and PhotoPlus, but also WebPlus, CraftArtistProfessional and DrawPlus.  Delighted to be using Affinity Designer, Photo, and now Publisher, version 1 and now version 2.

iPad Pro (11") running Affinity Photo and Designer (iOS 16.4.1) version 1 and all three version 2 apps.

You can not share the individual app license between Mac and iPad even if you buy 3 of them.
You have to buy the Universal License in order to share the license between platforms - Mac and iPad in you case.
Doesn't matter whether if you need it for Windows or not. the Universal License is the only option to share the license between platforms.
