Realmor Posted November 19, 2022 Posted November 19, 2022 Watch the attached video. In V1, when you imported any vector file from Pixabay, you could enter it to edit directly what was inside it, but somehow in the V2 is not possible at all, in Mac OS it's still working, but in Windows not. It should be triggered by just double-clicking the linked vector. Does anyone know a workaround to this or do I need to wait for the next update? Thanks 2022-11-18 19-33-51.mp4 Quote
Ron P. Posted November 19, 2022 Posted November 19, 2022 Welcome to the forums I'm not seeing the issue. I downloaded the same file from Pixabay, and don't have a problem editing it. Komatös Posted November 19, 2022 Posted November 19, 2022 Doubleclick the embedded layer. Open the group then you can manipulate all objects in any kind you need. Realmor Posted November 19, 2022 Author Posted November 19, 2022 @Komatös you mean from the layer menu? Seems weird. Watch the video: I was double-clicking all the times the layer and the object itself, no success. 2022-11-19 15-01-24.mp4 Quote
Komatös Posted November 19, 2022 Posted November 19, 2022 @Realmor Oh well I see your mistake! You have to use the node tool instead of the move tool Quote MAC mini M4 | MacOS Sequoia 15.5 | 16 GB RAM | 256 GB SSD AMD Ryzen 7 5700X | INTEL Arc A770 LE 16 GB | 32 GB DDR4 3200MHz | Windows 11 Pro 24H2 (26100.4061) Windows 11 Pro on VMWare Virtual Machine (on Mac) Affinity Suite V 2.6.1 3 & Beta 2.6 (latest) Interested in a free (selfhosted) PDF Solution? Realmor Posted November 20, 2022 Author Posted November 20, 2022 (edited) @Komatös It's very likely that it's a bug, I'm using this time the Node Tool here and it's the same thing, it doesn't open up, watch: 2022-11-19 19-07-20.mp4 Edited November 20, 2022 by Realmor Quote
Staff stokerg Posted December 2, 2022 Staff Posted December 2, 2022 Hi @Realmor, This is also working fine for me. Can you just check what your Image Placement Policy is, click File>Document Setup and make sure that is set to Prefer Embedded. Quote
