PaulEC Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 You've posted this in a thread for v2 bugs, but it looks like you're still using v1. It's a known bug in v1 which is caused by a recent Windows update. If you search the forums there are already several threads with instructions on how to remove the update. (FWIW: this problem does not seem to affect v2. Also, I would suggest editing your video so that it does not show your email address at the end!) Here is the FAQ about this crash: Can you confirm that you are using V1 and simply posted in the wrong part of the forum? If so, a Moderator can move this topic to the correct forum location. I've only KB5020622 and KB5019980 on the list. Quote
Komatös Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 Since Microsoft does not currently offer a patch for this bug in the .NET component, but you may leave security holes in your system by deleting the update, I recommend the following solution: Open the directory in which the Affinity programmes are installed. As a rule, C:\Programme\Affinity\(Desinger ...Photo ...Publisher) Search and open the .exe.config file (for example Designer.exe.config) with a text editor. Search for "<add key="IsVirtualizingStackPanel_45Compatible" value="true"/>" Replace the value true with the value false. Save the file (administrative rights are required to overwrite!) By turning off the compatibility, you may notice a reduced display speed when scrolling, but more likely not. mustafakar 1 Quote MAC mini M4 | MacOS Sequoia 15.5 | 16 GB RAM | 256 GB SSD AMD Ryzen 7 5700X | INTEL Arc A770 LE 16 GB | 32 GB DDR4 3200MHz | Windows 11 Pro 24H2 (26100.4061) Windows 11 Pro on VMWare Virtual Machine (on Mac) Affinity Suite V 2.6.1 3 & Beta 2.6 (latest) Interested in a free (selfhosted) PDF Solution?
