joe_l Posted November 15, 2022 Posted November 15, 2022 This report cannot be considered as an improvement or feature request, this is a bug. I like the new design, but this is hardly usable. You can distinguish the strokes only via the tooltip. See attached screenshot. In V1 the lines were much thicker. Quote ---------- Windows 10 / 11, Complete Suite Retail and Beta
joe_l Posted November 16, 2022 Author Posted November 16, 2022 Dang! The light UI is to blame. When I switch to dark UI, I can see the difference. But I strongly DISLIKE the dark UI. Quote ---------- Windows 10 / 11, Complete Suite Retail and Beta
Dan C Posted November 29, 2022 Posted November 29, 2022 Hi @joe_l, Thanks for your report and our sincerest apologies for the delayed response here. We are exceptionally busy following the release of V2 and we thank you for your continued patience and understanding here. In my opinion, when comparing V1 & V2, the lines are clearer within V2 for me - (Zoomed in to 250%) However I do agree these are clearer when set to Dark UI compared to Light UI, so I'll be sure to log this with our dev team now joe_l 1 Quote
4dimage Posted November 29, 2022 Posted November 29, 2022 @joe_l I agree, in v2 light UI mode one can hardly distinguish a diference between „usable“ edges and „non usable“. Yes the grid itself ist a little bit darker. But within each grid it‘s harder to tell the difference between the sibling active and inactive lines. In v1 there was a obviously more distinct visual difference between sibling lines within each grid. Vosje Posted November 29, 2022 Posted November 29, 2022 I also agree, it's not about the lines being clearer, it's just that there's too LITTLE contrast between the lines in V2 as opposed to V1 (where the active border is MUCH darker - or lighter - compared to the border lines that are inactive).
