Blackhole Layer, paste anything into this layer, it just disappear

My attached file has a very strange layer, I created this file and save it as .aftemplate long time ago, this problem occured on both V1 and V2 of AD

In the file there is a "BG" layer, it is empty, I put it there to prepare for paste stuff later, but if you draw / copy paste any graphic element into this layer, things just disappear, even the object still remain in layer tree.

Check it out ! I have no idea on how to recreate this. It just there and be special lol
