Text frame issue Resolved

Windows 8 ver 6.3 Publisher ver 1.10.5.1342

 

An issue has just arisen when I create a new text block, the horizontal lines do not appear. I opened an old publication and all worked OK.

I am obviously missing something but can not fathom out what.

Issue Resolved

There's an option in the Baseline Grid Manager (Display Threshold, perhaps) that determines whether the grid will show, based on the current zoom level. Perhaps you need to adjust that.

Thanks Walt, I have checked that also checked that the the leading is the same.

Just to confirm @John T, do you have the Baseline Grid enabled in the Text Frame Studio for this Text Frame?

@Dan Cyes the Baseline Grid is enabled.

This is most odd.

I might open an older file that works and delete all text and copy the content over from the faulty file.

Could be a Windows update issue?

Thanks Walt.

It was a large file so have deleted pages and all text.

I am guessing it is the Ignore Baseline grid that is causing this problem.

Next time don't save it with the History included.

Don't remember even selecting that, problem solved .
