caroljames972022 Posted October 13, 2022 Posted October 13, 2022 I am a new user of Affinity. I am trying to use it in Window 7 32 bit software and I am getting memory error while installation Please let me know how can I fix that issue. Quote
v_kyr Posted October 13, 2022 Posted October 13, 2022 Welcome! The Affinity apps are 64-bit apps and on older Windows 7 systems a PC with Windows 7 64-bit OS version is needed, further you would also need to have the Windows 7 Service Pack 1 + Platform Update KB2670838 + Aero installed & enabled! Quote ☛ Affinity Designer 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Photo 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Publisher 1.10.8 ◆ OSX El Capitan ☛ Affinity V2.3 apps ◆ MacOS Sonoma 14.2 ◆ iPad OS 17.2
Staff stokerg Posted October 13, 2022 Staff Posted October 13, 2022 Hi @caroljames972022, Further to the advice from @v_kyr, as Affinity needs a 64bit version of Windows 7 (or higher) to run, if you have purchased the app in the last 14 days please drop an email to affinityreturns@serif.com with your order number and we can arrange for a full refund. In order to run any of the Affinity applications you must be running a 64 bit version. In addition, as @v_kyr wrote, there are other requirements for a user to run the apps under the operating system you have. Quote Win 11 Pro, intel i7 14700, NVidia GTX 4060, 32G RAM, intel UHD 770. Long-time user of Serif products, chiefly PagePlus and PhotoPlus, but also WebPlus, CraftArtistProfessional and DrawPlus. Delighted to be using Affinity Designer, Photo, and now Publisher, version 1 and now version 2. iPad Pro (12.9") (iOS 18.2) running Affinity Photo and Designer version 1 and all three version 2 apps.
