v_kyr
Welcome! The Affinity apps are 64-bit apps and on older Windows 7 systems a PC with Windows 7 64-bit OS version is needed, further you would also need to have the Windows 7 Service Pack 1 + Platform Update KB2670838 + Aero installed & enabled! Quote ☛ Affinity Designer 1.10.6 ◆ Affinity Photo 1.10.6 ◆ Affinity Publisher 1.10.6 ◆ OSX El Capitan☛ Affinity V2 apps still not installed and thus momentary not in use under MacOS
Staff stokerg Posted October 13, 2022 Staff Share Posted October 13, 2022 Hi @caroljames972022, Further to the advice from @v_kyr, as Affinity needs a 64bit version of Windows 7 (or higher) to run, if you have purchased the app in the last 14 days please drop an email to affinityreturns@serif.com with your order number and we can arrange for a full refund. Ralph
Can I just congratulate Serif for its outstanding Customer Service, in general but specifically for offering a refund to CarolJames97.

In order to run any of the Affinity applications you must be running a 64 bit version. In addition, as @v_kyr wrote, there are other requirements for a user to run the apps under the operating system you have. Quote Win 10 Pro, i7 6700K, 32Gb RAM, NVidia GTX1660 Ti and Intel HD530 Graphics Long-time user of Serif products, chiefly PagePlus and PhotoPlus, but also WebPlus, CraftArtistProfessional and DrawPlus. Delighted to be using Affinity Designer, Photo, and now Publisher, version 1 and now version 2. iPad Pro (11") running Affinity Photo and Designer (iOS 16.5) version 1 and all three version 2 apps.
