bernha
Hi community, I've bought all 3 products and like the software a lot. I'm not a designer but freelance developer and I usually find my way around for everything that I need. Though there is one thing where I'm not sure if it is not possible or if I'm just missing something. Here is a free PSD mockup and I'd like to use such mockups to present my websites in my portfolio: https://firmbee.com/man-and-woman-are-working-together-in-a-cafe But it seems that I can't edit the replaceable screen. Am I missing something or is that file using some features of Photoshop that affinity does not support? Thx for your help! walt.farrell
Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. Yes, I can replace the screenshot in that laptop. For example: The replaceable portions will show in the Layers panel as (Embedded Document) (you may need to drag the panel wider to see that label). With the Move Tool selected, when you select that layer you'll see an Edit Document button in the Context Toolbar, or you could double-click the layer's thumbnail. Note that: You need to use Designer or Photo; and You need to change an application Preference, in the General section of the Preferences: Old Bruce and bernha 1 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. Komatös
If you want to use the settings as Walt suggested, make a double-click on the layer thumbnail to open the included file and insert your own images, texts or backgrounds.
