Issue with registering desktop Affinity Photo

Recommended Posts

Hello, I am looking for a link to register my Affinity desktop Mac Photo app from within the software, where I can pick the browser of choice.  It says my Safari is out of date and I am not ready to upgrade my MacOS in order to get the updated Safari browser.  I thought I went into Chrome and registered it, but it is not showing up on my profile and now the registration screen no longer shows when I open the software.  My iPad Photo and Designer is showing registered, but having trouble registering my MacBook Affinity Photo software.  Please advise.  I have the receipt from the Apple store to show I purchased it.  Thanks.  Joe K.

Hi @JKK1

Welcome to the Forum.

Please select the 'My Account' icon in the top right corner on the Toolbar to reopen the registration window, you should then be able to register your application.

Once this is complete you will be able to sign into your Affinity Store account and download any add-ons.

Hi. I'm having the same problem. I'm running an older version of the MacOS, and have successfully installed and am running Affinity apps. However, I can't seem to register them, in spite of having the key for each one. When I go to "My Account" I see a button for "registered apps and devices" but when I go there nothing is registered, and there's no way to register. I have also combed the Download and Account tabs, as well as Order history, but no joy. I've tried this in both Firefox and Chrome.

I'm running El Capitan a.k.a. 10.11.6

Thanks. As documented in the Technical Specifications section of the product description at the Affinity Store, and in the application Help (e.g., https://affinity.help/photo/en-US.lproj/pages/GetStarted/registerAndSync.html) the Registration function requires macOS Sierra 10.12 or above.

If you email affinity@serif.com they should be able to do a basic registration for you to enable you to receive the bonus content from the Store.
