Alex_M
I have a large file that I'm working on which takes a few seconds to export as JPG. I noticed that if I cancel the export, the file I want to overwrite gets deleted. Is this normal? IMO, this shouldn't happen. Please check the screen recording attached. canceling_export_deletes_file.mp4 Quote Affinity Photo 2.4.2 for Windows ◾ OS: Windows 10 Pro x64 ver. 22H2 ◾ CPU: AMD Ryzen 7950X 16-core ◾ RAM: 64 GB DDR5-6400 ◾ GPU: MSI GeForce RTX 3090 Suprim X 24GB / driver 526.98 ◾ NVMe SSD Samsung 980 Pro 1 TB ◾ Monitors: 2x Eizo ColorEdge CS2420 24"
walt.farrell
Once you said "yes, overwrite it" you should assume it's gone. One reasonable scenario is: 1. Ask to overwrite existing file. 2. If user responds yes, delete the existing file. 3. Write the new file.
