David Brear
When choosing a colour, I would find it very useful to have the present selection indicated on the 'colour bar' below. I can click on it to select a colour but at the moment I have little idea how close I am to the present selection, so cannot make fine adjustments. Thanks! William Overington
Welcome to the forums. I have not understood quite what it is you want. Is there an 'existing colour' and a "new colour if I pick it"? So are you requesting an additinal panel or an additional scroll bar or something else please? If that’s the case, you seem to have overlooked the eyedropper: click on it to activate it, and then click on the the target to put its colour in the colour well next to the eyedropper. Once you have the desired colour in that colour well, you can select any object(s) on the page and click on the colour well to apply the picked colour. walt.farrell
Possibly the request is to have a target shown within the large color panel before the sliders, that would mark the current color that is shown in the well and sliders. That would provide feedback for where the color resides within the color space, and you could move it to alter the color. Thanks for the explanation - I was just interested because I've noticed it several times. For me alone, such a thank you for the question would be a bit confusing, because most of the time, thanks for the answer and the advice provided.
