Not finding the templates for Publisher

Recommended Posts

I am trying to find the free cookbook template by Occy that is available after 1.9. I have registered, accessed my account and can see all the assets that have always been available, but do not see any templates. Where can I grab it? Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

Try File > New, and in the next dialog, click on Templates on the left side. If you've installed them via My Account, you'll find them there.

I'm thinking maybe I haven't installed it in My Account, but it wasn't even available on the browser interface. Maybe it doesn't show there?

As you have correctly recognised, you have not installed the template bundle.

If you scroll down you'll find the bundle.

Hi @BillyMo,

Welcome to the Affinity Forums :)

I've checked your Affinity account and although I can see a purchase for the apps and the bonus kits for Designer/Photo, the Publisher bonus kit appears to not have been automatically applied - my apologies for this!

I've manually added the 3 template files to your account, so you should find this is now available in the My account section of the app.

I hope this helps!

Please note -

I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.

Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible.

Many thanks!

Hi @Donloggins,

These templates were offered as a free bundle with Affinity Publisher V1 and unfortunately are not provided for Affinity Publisher V2 - my apologies.

However, users who had Publisher V1 for the desktop, should be able to download those templates from their Affinity Store account, and install them that way. Right?

It sounds like that should apply to @Donloggins from the prior communications above.

Absolutely - If the user had purchased Publisher V1 then these templates should also be compatible with V2 - however I could not see a purchase of Publisher V1 in the Affinity Store account for this user!

Thanks, Dan. Sorry, I became confused about which user you were responding to earlier. My apologies.
