    Pages for the iPad does have data merge. I create in affinity then import it to pages if I need to do data merge. I did this with holiday cards and it worked fine.

    The wait is over…it looks like November 9 is when I get publisher, photo and designer for my iPad in version 2.0. my question is will all my brushes from the previous version of photo carry over to photo 2

    The last big Apple event of the year is in mid October, when iPadOS 16 is shown. if affinity publisher is not released then I will be surprised, in fact I would guess 2.0 of all three affinity apps will be released in October. Apple and affinity use the phrase “soon” and “by the end of the year” to describe when publisher will be out. I hope that’s true.

    The display has rounded corners. When measured diagonally as a rectangle, the iPad Air screen is 10.86 inches. Actual viewable area is less. Battery life varies by use and configuration. See apple.com/batteries for more information. Apple Pencil sold separately. Data plan required. 5G is available in select markets and through select carriers. Speeds vary based on site conditions and carrier. For details on 5G support, contact your carrier and see apple.com/ipad/cellular. Keyboards and other accessories sold separately. Apps are available on the App Store. Title availability is subject to change. The Affinity Publisher app available later this year.(Apple changed it from Summer 2022 to later this year) this sounds like a delay to me.

    I wish Affinity would be more open about Publisher….first they say Summer 2022, then soon and now later this year. I hope they don’t change later this year to 2023

    As it was announced publisher would be released in the summer 2022, that means affinity should release it in the next 178 days….I wish affinity was more open with release dates and app progress. They make a great product but their outreach to customers could improve

    It’s passed the beta stage. It should be released sometime in march

    Looking at the Apple website they show screen shots of software that will run on the new iPads. One of the screenshots clearly shows affinity publisher for the iPads.

    As of 12/15/2021 it was in the Alpha stage, I do not know if their were any movement after that.

    They announced it in 2019 for release in 2020 and then COVID-19 hit. It’s currently in the Alpha stage, no clue when it will hit beta unless Affinity gives us a hint.

    I am hoping publisher for the iPad will come out in 2022. It should at least move from alpha to beta this year.
