latest Beta - backspace DELETES ALL text in the Text Frame

Recommended Posts

After step 2, did you click inside the text frame before proceeding to step 3?

Yes, I have to place the blinking cursor exactly where it needs to go.

Process:

1) click on Text or Move tool

2) click inside Text Frame - sometimes double click to get get blinking cursor

3) make edit

4) move to next edit, inside same Text Frame or another task.

Been doing the same way for two books and never had all the text vanish.

Hi @Dennison,

Would it be possible for you to record a video of this issue, ideally with the mac on screen keyboard visible? If you could then try use the physical keyboard and the on screen keyboard and see if the behavior is the same it would be useful.

Thanks
