GrammyMarcia
Several tutorials I have watched said you could right click or control click on a stroke or fill in the appearance panel. It should have a drop down list saying duplicate or delete. I have no drop down list. This is true on my iMac updated to newest version and on my MacBook. walt.farrell
Interesting. It works on Windows, so if it's not working on Mac it may be a missing function in the Mac version. (Or possibly an OS-related issue? What version of MacOS do you have on your machines?) GrammyMarcia
I have Mac OS Monterey version 12.1 running on both my desktop and my laptop.
R C-R
Works fine here in AD on my iMac running macOS Catalina version 10.15.7, so possibly this is a bug that only affects Monterey. Staff Callum Posted January 27, 2022 Staff Share Posted January 27, 2022 Hi Grammy Marcia, Welcome to the forums This seems to be working fine for me here. Please could you provide a screen recording of the issue? Please could you confirm right clicking and CTRL + Left clicking are both not working? Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
GrammyMarcia
I just figured it out. I have to hold down control and then thumb and 2 fingers on the trackpad and then I get the drop down list. Awkward but it worked. Thank you everyone! Seeing as you have a track pad too this is how I have mine set up for the "Control Click" or "Right Click" it is called Secondary Click in the OS Preferences. I also can just use one finger to Click so I will occasionally use the Control Key + a single finger click to bring up the context menus.
