Is it possible to hyperlink an entire table cell?

Recommended Posts

I'd like to hyperlink individual cells of a table, and have the entire cell be a clickable hyperlink (not just the area of any text). I've searched and experimented but cannot find a way to do this.

I can create a work-around by placing invisible rectangles over the cells and hyperlinking those, but that is very tedious.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @HeatherB,

Welcome to the Affinity Forums :)

I've tried this personally and unfortunately I don't believe it's possible to Hyperlink an entire cell currently, my apologies!
I'd recommend continuing to use your workaround for now - however I will move this thread to the feedback section of our forums - for our devs to see and consider implementing in the future

I hope this helps!

Please note -

I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.

Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible.

Many thanks!

As a workaround, I tried putting a rectangle with an hiperlink behind the specific cell and it worked (not ideal, but might be helpful). See Attached Files.

Best regards!
