marzo
any 2 or more points, selected, describe part of an overall shape. Very useful to be able to copy and paste just that part of the curve or shape. thatFloozie and Grapefruit
Staff TonyB Posted October 4, 2014 Staff Share Posted October 4, 2014 Sounds interesting. I will have to think of any downsides as people often select points for editing but might be surprised when their pasted object only has a few points. VectorCat
Ah...well..I could make the case that A) Users coming from Illustrator know and use this behavior, and B) it would be consistent with the idea that the Move tool selects whole objects, and Node tool selects nodes, ipso facto, copy paste with node tool should produce a copy of the node-tool-selected nodes. ...if that helps at all. Thank you for reading. Grapefruit and Raskolnikov
Staff TonyB Posted October 4, 2014 Staff Share Posted October 4, 2014 OK, I will put it on the list. Just don't ask me to make delete split the curve as that irritates me in Illustrator.
