Staff Andy Somerfield Posted September 23, 2021 Staff Share Posted September 23, 2021 Status: Beta Purpose: Improvements and fixes Requirements: Purchased Affinity Photo App Store: Not submitted Download link: Download Hello, We are pleased to announce the immediate availability of the first build of Affinity Photo 1.10.2 for iOS. If this is your first time using a customer beta of an Affinity app, it’s worth noting that the beta will install as a separate app - alongside your store version. They will not interfere with each other at all and you can continue to use the store version for critical work without worry. This beta is an incremental update to the 1.10.1 version recently released to all customers (although it still installs parallel to the released version, as described above). We recommend that you use this beta in preference to the store version if you are affected by any of the issues listed below. Affinity Photo Team Changes Since 1.10.1 - Fixed backspace key entering “nil” into numeric editing dialogs. - Fixed levels UI (reusing same output levels when changing channels). - Tolerance should be disabled when using samplers other than Bilateral in the frequency separation tool. - Fixed import of portrait Nikon RAW files from Photos app. - Fixed chromatic aberration when using the Serif Labs RAW engine. - Fixed artefacts when using the legacy shadows & highlights filter. - Further fixes to the patch tool in LAB mode. - Improve panorama stitching when source images have unusual metadata. - Fixed incorrect import of linear burn blend mode from PSD files. - Fixed issues with certain DNG files in the develop persona. - Fixes crashes opening certain EXR files. - Improved export quality when document contains certain live filters. - Fixed crashes with pattern layers. - Fixed saturation blend mode issues in 16bit RGB. - Assorted other fixes and improvements. - Localisation improvements. DM1
Not strictly a bug. Brush context menu is not showing an opacity slider. Problematic if using masks and selecting White 100%, when opacity may previously have been reduced in colour studio. The colour studios opacity setting will be applied.
