No light theme for iPads

Recommended Posts

Am using AD on the mini iPad. I remember earlier on there was a setting for selection of light/dark themes? Now there isn't any option to revert back, wondered if there will be plans to reintroduce this as the dark theme is pretty hard to use especially on a iPad mini. Thanks!

Hi @Mikejeesan,

Welcome to the forum

The iPad version of the Affinity apps only support the dark UI I do not know if we will include the option to switch the UI in future releases.

as this is a very wanted feature (often asked for) is there any explanation why this is not implemented? even free app Vectornator has light/dark UI

There's a small development team, working on multiple applications, with a long list of changes requested. Some will match things they want to implement, and will be implemented someday. But even when a requested change is acceptable to the Serif management and developers, some will depend on other functions that need to be implemented first, some may conflict with existing or other planned functions and require application rework, and some simply will have a lower priority and will need to wait until the future.
