vizou
Me too. Big problem! This mainly seems to be on text boxes that were created by "Open with" on a PDF file that was converted from a .docx file.
Dennison
My document was created from scratch on AP. Problem goes away when AP relaunched.

Staff Gabe Posted September 3, 2021 Staff Share Posted September 3, 2021 Hi both, Sorry for the delayed reply. Next time it happens, can you try and do a screen recoding (with the layers panel and history panel in view) so we can see what's going on? James666
I am using version 1.10.5 and the problem still exists as far as I am concerned, likewise this affects documents started from scratch. If I start a new text box using Arial 12pt regular I get strange almost indecipherable text as shown below. Closing down publisher and reopening the file cures the problem for the most part but does not cure the new text box issue shown below. I think you may have changed the defaults for the new text frames or the default for the [no style] paragraph and / or character styles. Go to Preferences > Miscellaneous and hit the Reset Default Text Styles. Then I would quit and restart Publisher. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
James666
Hi Bruce Thanks for reaching out and providing this advice. I did as you suggested and whilst the problem does not appear to affect a new document it still exists with documents that have it. The only thing I can suppose is that it might relate to the export of the document(s) as PDF's. This seems to be the only common factor I can find so far.
